Arm supports Cambridge city's first community farm!

Cambridge-based technology company Arm have got behind the vision for CoFarm and awarded us a generous donation towards the costs of establishing Cambridge city’s first community farm. The funds have enabled us to make an immediate start with getting rabbit proof fencing installed around a 2 acre section of the farm, which will become a productive organic market garden. The funds are also enabling us to engage expert horticulturalists - Peter Wrapson and Dominic Walsh - to lead on establishing the market garden with organic fruits and vegetables, supported by volunteer ‘co-farmers’.

We’re so delighted that Arm are getting behind us. The concept of seed funding is one that most people in Cambridge’s entrepreneurial ecosystem are familiar with but, in our case, it is quite literal!

Arm’s generous support is enabling us to get thousands of organic fruit and vegetable seedlings raised and into the ground in support of our community.

Everything we grow this year will be donated and distributed through the emergency food hubs coordinated by Cambridge Sustainable Food in collaboration with Cambridge Food Poverty Alliance, in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Thank you Arm!
